Owner, Tim Melton, is driven by his passion for the arts. He practiced working with metal arts
while in high school, and seriously considered majoring in the arts in college.
Instead, he chose to major in Economics.
First working as a stockbroker, and then after 15 years as a
utility worker, he returned to school to study culinary arts, where he
graduated with Honors. Within a few years he was supervising a restaurant staff,
but this left him without a satisfying creative outlet.
The decision to open a gallery and present works of original art
and fine craft, including his woodworking, is an act of self-creation and the
answer to his creative passions. He and his life-partner, Marie Best (also an
artisan), are actively engaged in their new community and are now ‘living the
dream’.
